Planet Friendly Buchlyvie – a partnership event

Join us for a day of planet-friendly fun and discover how you can make a positive impact on our environment!

Explore:

· 🛒 Shopping locally

· ♻️ Reducing waste

· 🌱 Growing your own food

We’re partnering with local charities and groups to showcase activities and services that support planet-friendly living. Enjoy some highlights such as our Upper Ballaird Farm Tours, and Bulb Planting Bonanza.

From foraging to wormeries, seed sprouting to wildlife gardening, there’s something for everyone!

Plus, enjoy some delicious treats at the Macmillan Coffee Morning – supporting a great cause while indulging in cakes.

Outdoor Activities

Visit Upper Ballaird Farm Coop – Transport from Buchlyvie School Car Park, half-hourly from 10.30 till noon. Please Book via Eventbrite or email Stephanie@FELScotland.org

Bulb Planting Bonanza – Everyone is invited to beautify the area behind the Village Hall with a thousand bulbs!

Wood-Fired Pizza Oven – FEL will be making pizza tasters from the wood fired ovens along with some foraged toppings from the foraging walk with Gartur Stitch Farm.

Indoor Activities

MacMillan Coffee Morning – In the Village Hall 10am-12pm Baking Stall and £4 entry which covers drinks and scones.

Information Stations – Come and speak to enthusiasts about; Home fruit and veg growing, seed library, wormeries, bee keeping, NeighbourFood, The HubG63, visible mending, FEL Scotland, foraging, waste and recycling, Stirling Council, home composting, Green Routes, Stirling Food Partnership, seed sprouting, Upper Ballaird Farm Coop, woody stuff, Green Aspirations, keeping hens for eggs, Buchlyvie wildlife gardens.
