Clacks Good Food - Business Breakfast

What better setting than The Ladybird Tearoom – an inspirational example of how lovingly prepared, home-made food brings people together – to uncover what it is we want from our food system in Clacks and what, together, we can do to ensure entrepreneurs and small business owners are enabled to meet the challenges ahead and thrive.
JOB VACANCY: COMMUNITY COOKERY SESSIONAL WORKER
Rate of pay: £25 per hour
Hours: Up to 140 hours as required, end of March – October 2023. Some weekend working required and possibly occasional weekday evenings.
Requirements: Applicants to hold REHIS Elementary Certificate in Food Hygiene and their own Professional Indemnity insurance cover. A basic Disclosure check will be required.
Location: Tullibody Community Garden, Carseview, Tullibody FK10 2SR
Tullibody Community Garden is a small, friendly organisation entirely run by volunteers, awarded the Clacks ‘Community Group of the Year’ 2022. We aim to promote health and wellbeing – of people, and the planet.
We are looking to recruit a Sessional Worker to: get our Portacabin kitchen fully food hygiene/Environmental Health compliant and operational; and to organise and deliver a programme of beginner’s vegetarian cookery classes for local people. An ability to communicate positively with a wide range of people will be important.
